How you can help us to create more happy, healthy humans

As a small, ambitious charity, your support matters. Things are tough for small charities right now, and you can really help us to make a difference.

Through larger grants, one-off donations and ongoing support from organisations, we can deliver our programmes in education, health and social care settings. We want to embed mentally healthy movement into every day, and your support can help us to reach more children, train more adults, and create a lasting change in communities across England and Wales.

How your support helps

Children today are facing increasing pressures that can affect their emotional and mental wellbeing, with one in five young people suffering from a probable mental health condition (NHS 2023).

Through grants and donations, your generosity allows us to:

  • Deliver our Surge programme, a prevention at scale, whole-school programme for every child, to more primary schools across England and Wales;
  • Deliver our Shine programme, reaching more children with early emerging need. This includes children awaiting support from CAHMS;
  • Support care-experienced children and their families through the Together programme, offering greater placement stability;
  • Work together with children and young people in the co-creation of new resources that help us to reach more children through collaboration with other organisations.

Every contribution matters

Every donation we receive, big or small, directly supports us to make mentally healthy movement accessible for every child. We want to help children to break the storm.

"Children are much calmer and more focused and ready to learn in the class after doing stormbreaks."- teacher

"We have noticed that our teachers are more aware of the pupils' emotions across the class and seem enthusiastic about delivering stormbreaks based on pupils' emotional needs." - head teacher

"Children are more active since we have started doing stormbreaks. Children are able to share their emotions and have positive conversations about their feelings.”- teacher
